My powerbook battery had a good run: 2.5 years. But I needed a replacement and I didn't want to spend 130 bucks from apple. Batterycentury had this for 90 and it does the job. I'm back to being able to go a few hours without a charge.
As advertised - completely compaitible with my laptop. Battery life is ~20% better than original battery when it was new.
After several months of use I'm happy to report that this battery charges and holds its charge exactly as it should. I can't detect any difference between this one and the MacIntosh battery that it replaced. There's often a difference between a a factory original product and a low-cost replacement but in this case the only difference I can find is the welcome savings.
I bought this to replace a 3.5 year-old original that was down to just 30 min charge life. It fits nicely - nearly as good as the original profile. I followed the advice of calibrating (charge/drain/charge) and it works a treat - 4hr+ life.
