it looks better than my old battery, it was obviously brand new. I even checked to make sure it was on its first charge cycle.

I bought this battery for my iBook G4. It fits and works perfectly.
Just like Apple's battery, we'll see how long it lasts, but since it is less than the price Apple wants for their battery, I'm sure its worth it.

Yeah... you get what you pay for. Okay, maybe you get a little better than you pay for with this battery. I charged it the way you are supposed to (you know, charging it up fully, letting it run down once a week, etc.) ... and NEW, this battery lasts about 2/3 as long as a new Apple battery would. So... yeah. Slightly better than paying half the price.

Why your Apple A1061 Battery light flashing?
this migth fix your problem;
- Go to your power settings by right clicking on the desktop and select Properties> click the Screen Saver tab> click Power.
- Under Power schemes select select all of the choices to never.
- Plug the power supply into the
laptop and wait till it reaches 100% and stop charging..
- Disconnect the power supply and let the laptop discharge completly untill it heibernates.
- Reconect the power supply and let the laptop charge complely again, then go back into the Apple A1061 laptop battery power settings and resume the previous settings.
