I just received and it seems fine. I purchased on the basis of the comments here and I am not sorry. The battery arrives with no instructions for calibrating, so if you need that you'll need to look on the internet. My first charge calculated to more than four hours. So far, so good.

The battery works great, but the only reason i did not give it 5 stars was due to the fact that it can only hold a 4 hour charge. 4 hours is great, but the original apple battery would hold about 5 hours and change. Overall the battery is worth the price compared to apples absurd price. Its a battery so its lifespan will slowly diminish.

The original battery on my ibook had completely died. I bought this replacement, I have had it for about a month and it holds a 3 hour charge. If you need a replacement battery and want a cheap option, this is a good choice. I have had no problems with it at all.

This battery was a perfect replacement for an older battery that was no longer holding much of a charge. The new one lasts longer than the old one ever did, which is really all you can ask for. Too soon to comment on reliability.
