There's often a difference between a a factory original product and a low-cost replacement but in this case the only difference I can find is the welcome savings.

As a battery it's been great. Reliable, provides a long life, and fits exactly. I've tried the replacement battery from Other World Computing with much less success. This one has been great. So great that I also bought one for my 15" Powerbook - which is working well also.

ad this battery for a month and a half, and so far so good. It doesn't seem to have the same reserve capacity that the factory battery did, but I wonder if running it down to reserve so often is what killed it in the first place.
