got the battery popped it into my laptop and it just works. can't say more then it just works we will see how long it works for but it works for now.

This battery from Dell performs just as advertized. I had tried a model from a different manufacturer, and that did not perform at all. Not only was the up time time shorter, the battery almost never got fully charged, except when it came brand new. I am happy I was able to return that and bought this one from Batterycentury at a great price.

Go to your power settings by right clicking on the desktop and select Properties> click the Screen Saver tab> click Power.
Under Power schemes select select all of the choices to never.
