This battery is exactly what it is. A replacement battery for my dell laptop. Don't know if it is an improvement over the original battery because the original last just about FOREVER, but its an excellent replacement battery.
I love not being tethered! This battery connection was perfect and it lasts for hours not minutes. Totally worth it though.
Don't waste money on dell replacement batteries in dell.com. This product is really good and it works well. Dell system may not recognize this battery immediately but don't mind that message. It works perfectly fine.
