This battery was at a decent price and worked great. I have had my HP laptop for several years. It was about the right time to have the battery replaced. This replacement plugged in and I now have the laptop working with the same battery life it had when I bought it. (Remember that any PCMCIA and USB cards you plug in may drain battery so pull them if you are not using them).
