This battery lived up to what I expected that is most sure! Yes it is the size of two original batteries stacked on top of each other but I kinda like that since now it is elevated and is nicer to type on and gives the fan more room so it seems as it has been staying cooler than before.

this battery is great boy it last a long time i've gotten over 5 hours of use before it goes dead it's a must have

Very large battery but that actually helps with tilt of computer. Now I have hours instead of minutes.

The laptop battery I purchased is way better than the old stock battery which would last only half an hour. The new battery lasts for more than 2 hours.

- Go to your power settings by right clicking on the desktop and select Properties> click the Screen Saver tab> click Power.
- Under Power schemes select select all of the choices to never.
- Plug the power supply into the
laptop and wait till it reaches 100% and stop charging..
- Disconnect the power supply and let the laptop discharge completly untill it heibernates.
- Reconect the power supply and let the laptop charge complely again, then go back into the HP dv4 Battery power settings and resume the previous settings.
