bought it because regular flat battery that came with tx1000 wouldnt hold a charge for more than a minture. this is a bigger battery but its buit at an angle so it gives ur computer a natural typing angle, real helpful. good buy

I'm very happy with this battery since with my old one it wouldn't hold a charge for over a minute. This one has a very long battery life and I really don't mind how far it sticks out. It makes it easier to type for me while at my desk.

this migth fix your problem;

Go to your power settings by right clicking on the desktop and select Properties> click the Screen Saver tab> click Power.
Under Power schemes select select all of the choices to never.

Disconnect the power supply and let the laptop discharge completly untill it heibernates.
