The bottom line on this one is that it's designed for those who need better than average performance from their battery. If you want small, go for the regular battery.

It brought my laptop back to life. I was frustrated with my old battery by getting only an hour or less of battery life. And that was with the wifi and bluetooth off and my screen very dim.

My original battery failed after 22 months. This one comes with a 12-month warranty - more than enough time to figure out if you have a bad one and return it. I did have to re-seat it in the socket as it was having trouble charging, seems fine now and charges to 100% - meter shows over 2 hours worth of charge.

this migth fix your problem;

Go to your power settings by right clicking on the desktop and select Properties> click the Screen Saver tab> click Power.
Under Power schemes select select all of the choices to never.
Plug the power supply into the laptop and wait till it reaches 100% and stop charging..
Disconnect the power supply and let the laptop discharge completly untill it heibernates.
Reconect the power supply and let the laptop charge complely again, then go back into the HP Pavilion ZE2000 laptop battery power settings and resume the previous settings.
