The fit in my IBM R32 Thinkpad was a little tight and took a little force to get it in while the old batter would go in easily. The new battery will last about two hours while the old batter would last about 40 minutes. The price was really good, too.

The delivery was prompt and the item was as promised. It's been about a month since I bought it and till now, I have no complaints. To give an estimate of the battery life, I use Ubuntu on my Thinkpad R32 and if I use the browser with a slightly dimmed display, I get around 3.5 hours of battery life.

The battery works okay so far (2 months). However battery life is only ~2.5h and then needs to be recharged - was hoping it would last longer than that.

this battery does indeed give you 3 hours of battery life, and works great. with wireless on and my screen dimmed my laptop has about 3.5 hours of batter life.

Why your IBM ThinkPad R32 Battery light flashing?
this migth fix your problem;
- Go to your power settings by right clicking on the desktop and select Properties> click the Screen Saver tab> click Power.
- Under Power schemes select select all of the choices to never.
- Plug the power supply into the
laptop and wait till it reaches 100% and stop charging..
- Disconnect the power supply and let the laptop discharge completly untill it heibernates.
- Reconect the power supply and let the laptop charge complely again, then go back into the IBM ThinkPad R32 laptop battery power settings and resume the previous settings.
