Using my comperter for personal and business needs, at times, I end up using it without the plug in. This battery was not only at a great price, but the use of this battery has been great. The charge has well maintained, upon my setting the battery to discharge at a 15-20%, and then recharging it. The battery is maintaining itself, and providing the extended use. Go to your power settings by right clicking on the desktop and select Properties> click the Screen Saver tab> click Power.
Under Power schemes select select all of the choices to never.
