This battery worked as promised, is recharging and holding up quite well, and seems to be better than the original one that came with the machine. What more can you say when what you pay for is delivered and works as promised.
My old battery couldn't hold a charge for more than 15 or 20 min, so I tried this one as a replacement. When unplug my laptop I continue to keep the brightness up high on my screen...so I don't go easy on batteries. This battery consistantly lasts in the 2 hour range before needing plugged in again.
I've had the battery for a little over a month now and it seems to be working well. I'm very glad I didn't spend the money buying a Dell battery.
I bought this for a 2 year old failing factory battery. Initially I ordered the wrong one. I e-mailed the original company and was able to return it no problem. Once installed, we charged it for a day and it works very well. Hopefully we'll get a few years out of this one, too..
