Characteristics of Ni-MH Battery

1, charging temperature

1) When charging the ambient temperature should be 10 to 40 degrees.

2) The ambient temperature will affect the charging efficiency. When ambient temperature at 10 to 30 degrees is the best charging efficiency.

3) When ambient temperature is below 0 degrees, inside the battery the gas absorption reaction is not sufficient, causing the battery inside pressure increased, activating safety valves, so that the battery leaks, performance deteriorated.

4) When ambient temperature is higher than 40 degrees, the charging efficiency will decline. This will lead to battery performance deteriorate and leak.

2, anti-polar charge

To avoid the anti-pole charge. Anti-polar charge will cause the battery inside pressure increase, activating safety valves, so that the battery leaks, performance degradation, and even the battery may rupture.

3, discharge

1) The discharge ambient temperature shall be -10 to 45 degrees.

2) When discharge temperature is -10 °C below and above 45 °C, the discharge capacity will decline.

4, storage (short-term storage temperature and humidity)

1) store the battery in dry, non-corrosive gases, temperature -20 degrees and 45 degrees place.

2) store the battery in the relative humidity is particularly high or the temperature is below -20 degrees or above 45 degrees will make the battery metal parts rust, battery leakage or organic material part of the contract.

5, long-term storage 

1) As the long-term storage will accelerate battery self-discharge and the active substances blunt, the appropriate ambient temperature is 10 °C to 30 °C.

2) Due to active substances passivation after long-term storage, the battery voltage and capacity will decline. Repeat several charge-discharge cycles, the battery can restore its original performance.

3) When storage for more than one year, preferably recharge a battery per year in order to avoid self-discharge lead to battery leakage or performance degradation.

6, life

Batteries in the proper use of conditions can be reused for more than 500 times.
